English Bio Sketch

Tim Halls lived in Latin America for 21 years. He continues to work alongside Latin Americans as they organize and develop missionary outreaches of their own around the world.

Tim works directly for Latin America Mission, advising the President on matters of strategy. He says, "My work takes me beyond strategy for just the LAM. I find myself taking on strategic missional issues for initiatives and ministries that emerge from the Latin American context." He also serves on the Board of COMHINA (Cooperación Misionera de los Hispanos de Norteamérica), and on the staff of the Missions Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance.

His areas of developing interest include how migration from Latin America and from the Muslim World to the US interact to affect the future of missionary outreach from both the US and Latin America.

His wife, Lois, is Head Counselor at Miramonte High School in Orinda, CA.

Tim and Lois live in Concord. They have three grown daughters: Angela, Marian, and Emily, and a grandson, Parker.
